Accommodation
All of our Mauritian bungalows have their own private, comfortably furnished terrace in the majestic coconut grove that stretches as far as the white sands of the beach. The bungalows are made of volcanic rocks and have traditional Mauritian thatched roofs. At La Pirogue, the bungalows are arranged as a little fishing village. Each area of this charming coastal village is named after a tropical flower found in Mauritius. All of the Mauritian bungalows at La Pirogue have direct ground-floor access to the luxuriant coconut grove, facing one of the most beautiful of Mauritius blue lagoons. The 200 Standard Rooms have a floor space of 25 square metres and are furnished with double beds; they have en-suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower. 36 of them have a connecting door to the neighbouring Standard Room. An extra bed can be added for a child under 18 or one adult. La Pirogue, the 4 star Mauritian hotel, also has one room which is suitable for disabled guests.
