Description
Meeru Island Resort offers a relaxing casual atmosphere. A large island by local standards, much of the island remains untouched, with its natural vegetation intact. It is certainly the resort for you if you would prefer to kick off your shoes and enjoy a casual atmosphere in which to relax.
Location
Sited at a more remote location on the easternmost tip of North Male Atoll, Meeru Resort is reached by a speedboat ride from the airport. Some 50 kilometers from the capital of Male, the transfer will take you through some of the most exciting ocean scenery imaginable as you watch the flying fish leaping out of the water and skimming the surface for several meters at a time, or if you are lucky, you will see the dolphins, putting up a show, to give you some excitement during your trip.

There are 227 Rooms including 58 Standard Rooms, 138 Land Villas, 29 Water Villas, and 2 Honeymoon Suites. Each room features tropical decor, two twins, one queen or one king size bed, tile or wood floors, private patio, air-conditioning, overhead ceiling fan, a sitting area, stocked Mini Bar with refrigerator, IDD telephone, personal safe, bathroom with hot water, shower, bath accessories, and nightly turndown service.
