• Day 1: Miami On the tip of the Florida peninsula bordered by emerald water and white sand beaches you will find the jewel of the Atlantic Ocean Miami Beach. From moonrises over the ocean to sunsets on the Everglades; Miamis romantic settings unfold in the heat of a tropical moment. Experience Miamis outdoor lifestyle; art deco architecture and design along with its cultural food and contagious nightlife; its easy to see why some never leave. This is the place where the celebrities from around the world come to play. Kick back on a patio cafand#233;; lay on the beach or window shop the world famous boutiques of the Lincoln Street corridor this is the place to come see and be seen!
• Day 2: Miami – Key Largo | Marathon Its time to whisk your partner away on an island paradise; head south and arrive in the first key of thirty-four total keys and surrounded by 1700 islands. Key Largo is the largest of all the Florida Keys which is indicated by its Spanish name Cayo Largo meaning Long Key. Key Largo is a popular tourist destination and calls itself The Diving Capital of the World. An easy way to experience the underwater magic is to rent snorkeling equipment and hold hands while you float over the sea life and beautiful coral reefs.
• Day 3: Key Largo | Marathon – Key West Driving across the Florida Keys it seems like the road almost floats because of the extensive bridges spanning 100 miles to Key West. Surrounded by crystal water and riddled with tiny islands and boats; this drive is assured to set the mood. Key West is rich with history from being the home of Hemingway and the place where he wrote his most popular books; to the different festivals on Duval Street. Enjoy the sunset celebration nightly at Mallory Square dock or walk to the most Southern point of the USA; all points of Key West are within a short walk. A must is a romantic dinner cruise to take in Sunset on the water (optional).
• Day 5:Key West – Sanibel Island Hold onto each other and prepare for the ride through the wild coast of Everglades National Park; known as the Alligator Alley due to the overwhelming number of fresh water alligators. The good things on this single stretch of road is that its very difficult to get lost! Everglades National Park is a diverse series of habitats that shelter a wide variety of plants and animals. While crossing the Everglades; stop and visit the Miccosukee Indian Village. Then continue on your journey to Naples which was founded in the 1880s; the name caught on when promoters described the bay as surpassing the bay of Naples Italy. This is a great place to enjoy the beach and stroll through the historic town center with lots of shops and admire the Spanish architecture. End your day arriving into Sanibel Island.
• Day 6: Sanibel Island If you have ever dreamed about being on a tropical island with your toes in the soft white sand; while coconut palms sway in the wind above you and beautiful crystal blue water in front of you; then you have dreamed about Sanibel Island. Sanibel Island is an unforgettable romantic getaway with the perfect setting for a wedding; honeymoon; and anniversary or just get away with the love of your life!
• Day 7: Sanibel Island – Sarasota Head north along the gulf coast to beautiful Sarasota; a popular beach resort with lots of quaint shopping; a great place to pick up an ice-cream cone to cool you from the Florida heat! Sarasota is also the hometown of The Ringling Brothers; The Greatest Show on Earth; perhaps visit their museum to learn more about the history of circus life. (optional; fees apply)
• Day 8: Sarasota Pick shells on the beach; work on your tan or read your favorite book; Sarasota is the perfect place to do it all or relax and do nothing!
• Day 9: Sarasota – Orlando Drive east on I-4 through one of the agricultural areas of central Florida and arrive in Orlando. Considered by many as the happiest place on earth due to the many Walt Disney World attractions; you may want to spend you day at one of the fun-filled parks which Walt Disney World offers: Epcot; Animal Kingdom; Magic Kingdom; Hollywood Studios or one of the many water parks. Not to be overshadowed by Disney; Universal Studios and SeaWorld also have their own exciting brand of characters and attractions which you may choose to enjoy. Or if an adrenaline rush is not your thing; then we suggest an optional couples massage; an evening stroll down Park Avenue in Winter Park or an optional hot air balloon ride over the Happiest Place on Earth. • Day 10 – 11: Orlando – Vero Beach Cruise down A1A with the beach on your left and the orange groves to your right and you will understand why Floridians call this The Land of Good Living. We highly recommend landing on the Space Coast and exploring the Nasa Kennedy Space Center. Blast off from Cape Canaveral and continue to explore the Florida east coast moving though Surf City; Cocoa Beach and land on the tranquil beaches of Vero.
• Day 12: Vero Beach – Miami Continue driving down A1A and explore the lavish estates of Palm Beach; home to such American iconic families as the Kennedys; Vanderbilts and Trumps. On your way back to Miami you may want to stop in Ft Lauderdale. Ft Lauderdale is a popular tourist destination and is known as the Venice of America because of its expansive and intricate canal system. May we suggest taking a cruise and explore the canals for yourself (optional). Finish your day arriving into Miami.
• Day 13: Miami Enjoy the time you have left in Miami and perhaps do some last minute shopping. You may find that the souvenir of Florida is already in your heart!
